Among his many show wins, he was Best in Specialty Show at the American Azawakh Association's National Specialty in July 2004 over an entry of 39 Azawakhs. He's a large boned boy, very dark red, correct and light mover, attractive markings and great disposition. Rumi is owned by Andy Meier and Rhonda Mann. He was the sire of our incredible K litter co-bred with Norma Spivey of Tennessee. Rumi usually resides in WV with his co-owner, Andy Meier, but he's a frequent visitor at Simoon.

Azawakh 'n shat-ehadJeloun is Dayyat's grandson. Louni has a super temperament, incredibly long straight legs, excellent underline and format. He's a great favorite of all the visitors to Simoon and frequently rides shotgun with Deb on errands and long drives. Jeloun was the sire of the Simoon I and J litters. Born in September 2001, he started his ASFA lure coursing career in October 2002 and ranked #1 for 2002, 2003 and 2004 . He was bred by Ursula Arnold of Azawakhs 'n shat-ehad.

loving pet, though she's not very friendly with strangers! We always say that
if Juli likes you then you are "certifiably insane!"
She does
seem to gravitate to people who are, shall we say, a little odd.
